iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Sport 2GB of RAM, Xcode 7 GM confirms

Apple never divulge RAM in their iOS devices and consumers have always been apprehensive about RAM size. Nevertheless, enthusiasts don’t park themselves idle and dig to the foundation level to find information. It has been reveled that Apple has given 2GB of RAM to iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and 4GB of RAM to iPad Pro.

Hamza Sood, a developer revealed that iPhone 6s and 6s Plus to be shipped with 2GB of RAM. He also reported, iPad Pro to be come with 4GB RAM. Below is the official tweet from his account.

iPad Pro memory information was also revealed by Adobe last week, but they removed that piece of information from blog as it was put accidentally.

Compared to previous version of iPhone 6 (and 6 Plus) it is a huge step forward to performance by enhancing device memory to double size. The same for iPad Pro, 4GB of RAM is ultimate game for unmatched performance. It will add value to user performance, enhanced experience in multi-tasking.

Increased RAM in new devices will allow users to capture 4K UHD videos very smoothly and play 3D games without sheathing. Apple might have decided to discontinue using less RAM to enable user to efficiently run programs side-by-side, browse internet through multiple tabs.

We are eagerly waiting for iPhone 6s (and 6s Plus) and iPad Pro to touch our doorstep, and to test many memory consuming Apps to evaluate memory enrichment.
